Sweet passion
Remember how your childhood heart beat faster at the sight of a colorful pastry? We have held that enthusiasm for treats at Eclair Affair.

From childhood, Moldovan Tanya loved eclairs. With each chocolate, coffee or strawberry eclair she mopped up, her affection for French patisserie grew.

The baking lawyer
Tanya completed her master's degree in law and went to work as a corporate lawyer, but pastries kept calling to her. After a stressful work day, she could often be found at the computer, looking at pictures and videos about pastries. Here she found her peace, and she had no choice but to apprentice at a Belgian pastry school in Bucharest.

A Maastricht dream
After running a catering business in Moldova for two years, Tanya and her husband Alex came to the Netherlands in 2016 with a clear goal in mind: to open a luxury eclair store in Maastricht. In 2020, this dream came true and Eclair Affair became a reality.

Party in a box
At Eclair Affair you buy a party in a box. A moment of enjoyment for yourself or someone you love. Maastricht has welcomed us with open arms and Eclair Affair has often received compliments for its unique pastries, which are not overly sweet.
